St Martin-in-the-Fields
The Academy Chamber Ensemble was formed in 1967 from the Principals of the orchestra to perform the larger chamber works. Led by Thomas Bowes, the Chamber Ensemble returns to St Martin-in-the-Fields with a beautiful programme Brahms’ seminal Sextet No.2. The Academy’s Principal Oboe Christopher Cowie will join the ensemble for Mozart’s charming Oboe Quartet, followed by Britten’s Phantasy Quartet.
