Overview

The incredible German violinist Julia Fischer leads the Academy on tour around her home country, with Andrey Rubtsov’s Violin Concerto, written especially for her, receiving its world premiere in Cologne. Russian pianist Yulianna Avdeeva, winner of the 2010 Chopin Competition, joins Julia and the Academy for Mendelssohn’s Concerto for Violin, Piano and Strings.
