Sir Neville Marriner: in conversation
Sir Neville Marriner and the Academy return to the Church of St Martin-in-the-Fields where they held their first performance in 1959. This concert will showcase the best of Neville and the Academy, as the orchestra perform pieces they have long been associated with such as Mozart’s Symphony No. 25 in G minor. This will be interspersed with discussion from the stage as Sir Neville talks about his remarkable career to Classic FM presenter and Mail on Sunday classical music critic David Mellor.
