On November 13 1959, Neville Marriner led the Academy in its first public performance at the church of St Martin-in-the-Fields in London’s Trafalgar Square.Sixty years later, almost to the day, we will celebrate our anniversary with a special Gala Concert with our Music Director, Joshua Bell, at the Queen Elizabeth Hall in London.
