The Academy of St Martin in the Fields is pleased to announce its 2025/26 programming, featuring performances with some of the world’s greatest soloists including Joshua Bell, Steven Isserlis, Elena Urioste and Khatia Buniatishivili – for performances in the UK and across the world, building on the orchestra’s rich global legacy. As one of the UK’s most celebrated cultural exports, ASMF continues on its busy international touring programme across the season, with over 100 concerts around the world including tours to Europe and North America – which features the orchestra’s return to Carnegie Hall after two decades.
ASMF also continues its relationship with the orchestra’s historic home of St Martin-in-the-Fields, as the Principal Orchestral Partner of the venue, with performances by rising stars Julius Asal and Arielle Beck, and a celebration of the beloved composer and former ASMF orchestra member Sally Beamish.
This season also sees a continued commitment to ASMF’s Social Purpose work, with established projects in three homeless shelters across London. ASMF’s social purpose work also extends to touring venues, with side-by-side projects, performances in homeless shelters and schools workshops on a global scale.
“The Academy of St Martin in the Fields has been my musical family for almost 15 years, and so I am looking forward very much indeed to collaborating on such a broad range of tours and projects with the orchestra throughout the season. Highlights include two tours in the US, concerts across Europe, a visit to some wonderful German summer festivals, and a special performance in London. If is also particularly meaningful to me that I will have the opportunity to take the orchestra back to Carnegie Hall for the first time since I joined as Music Director. My work with the ASMF has truly been the greatest privilege of my musical life, and I am ever so grateful to continue our journey together as we share our music-making with friends and audiences across the world.”
