Since November 2024, the Academy of St Martin in the Fields have built a special partnership with award-winning cocktail bar, Larry’s, part of the Daisy Green Collection. Nestled within the vaults of the National Portrait Gallery, Larry’s has been host to the staff, musicians and guests of ASMF on numerous occasions, following their concerts at St Martin-in-the-Fields Church, just across the road in Trafalgar Square. Notable occasions include ASMF’s dazzling post-concert party for their 2024/25 season-opener concert with cellist Anastasia Kobekina, featuring Hugh Bonneville as the opening night patron.
ASMF and Larry’s have been collaborating on an exciting new creation in 2025, and proudly announce the launch of their brand-new ‘Sir Neville Marriner’ cocktail on Thursday 26 June following their London season-closer performance with the highly-acclaimed violist, Timothy Ridout, as soloist. Celebrating and continuing the legacy of ASMF’s iconic founder and violinist, Sir Neville Marriner, following his Marriner 100 centenary celebrations in April 2024 – this long, Campari-based, sparkling cocktail pays homage to Sir Neville’s rich life story, whilst also raising funds for the life and important work of his organisation.
The ‘Sir Neville Marriner’ cocktail will be available to enjoy exclusively at Larry’s cocktail bar until 26 September 2025. Also marking the occasion will be Sir Neville’s framed portrait, on display within the venue for one-night-only, on Thursday 26 June, alongside some of history’s most iconic arts figures including Audrey Hepburn, Amy Winehouse, David Bowie, Derek Jarman and many more.
