Joshua Bell’s 15th Anniversary
with the Academy of St Martin in the Fields
In September 2011 Joshua Bell began his tenure as ASMF’s Music Director. This year we invite you to join us in celebrating 15 years with Joshua Bell in a landmark anniversairy season that brings audiences and supporters together with special events, concerts, and unique moments with Joshua Bell and ASMF’s players.
Since his appointment in 2011, the partnership between ASMF and Joshua Bell has become a powerhouse of innovation and artistic excellence, and a collaboration that is admired worldwide. Joshua as led the orchestra on numerous major international tours and acllaimed recordings, including Bruch: Scottish Fantasy, which received a 2019 Grammy nomination, and a Beethoven symphony cycle that reached No. 1 on the Billboard Classical Chart. His championing of new music has seen celebrated projects and commissions in partnership with ASMF including those with Vince Mendoza, Kevin Puts, John Corigliano, and Edgar Meyer. In March 2026, Joshua Bell and ASMF returned to Carnegie Hall as part of a major US tour, celebrating the orchestra’s enduring international impact.
