The Academy Chamber Ensemble travel to the US in October for a 10-date tour. The two concert programmes both include Purcell (arr. Britten) Chacony for Strings and Ferguson’s Octet; Glazunov’s Idyll and Beethoven’s Septet in Eb Major make up the first programme and Schubert’s Octet in F Major for Winds & Strings completes the second.
