What’s OnUnfortunately, Augustin Hadelich has had to withdraw from his London and Germany dates with the Academy of St Martin in the Fields due to health issues. He is deeply disappointed to miss these performances with ASMF, and ASMF wishes Augustin a speedy recovery and looks forward to working with him in the future.
ASMF are delighted that Bomsori will join the orchestra to perform a new programme of Mozart, Mendelssohn, Wienawski and Tchaikovsky. South Korean violin virtuoso Bomsori has, in recent years, firmly established herself as one of today’s eminent young international concert artists – praised by NDR Radio in Germany as “one of the most dynamic and exciting violinists of today.” Having achieved superstar status in her homeland, the South Korean violinist is now a sought-after soloist on the international stage.
