The Academy of St Martin in the Fields is joined by Bruce Liu, first prize winner of the 18th Chopin Piano Competition, for a tour of the USA with a programme featuring Shostakovich’s witty and brilliant Piano Concerto No. 1 and Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 9 “Jeunehomme” or “Jenamy,” named by Alfred Brendel as “one of the greatest wonders of the world.”
