The Academy of St Martin in the Fields and Music Director Joshua Bell return to the USA for a major tour with multiple programmes including Brahms’ magnificent Violin Concerto in D major and Saint-Saëns’ Violin Concerto No.3 in B minor with Bell taking centre stage, then leading Schumann’s vibrant, energetic and joyful ‘Spring’ Symphony No. 1 and Dvorak’s Symphony No.8 in G major from the violin.
The position of the Music Director of the Academy of St Martin in the Fields and the evening’s concert at Carnegie Hall are both generously supported by the Berry Charitable Foundation.
