Disappointingly, following London’s move to Tier 3, this concert has now been cancelled. A small consolation is that our online Christmas concert can go ahead so you can still enjoy festive music with us, from home. Tickets for that are available here.
Tickets are FREE and must be booked in advance for test and trace purposes. We will be taking donations at the end of the concert and we ask that you please give generously to support our freelance musicians.
The Academy is joined by St Martin’s Voices with conductor Andrew Earis and St Andrew’s organist, Nick Bland.
There are two performances: at 5:00pm & 7:30pm. Each performance will last approximately 1 hour, without an interval.
Music includes:
What sweeter music by John Rutter
Excerpts from Handel’s Messiah
Sleigh Ride by Leroy Anderson
Plus all your favourite carols, including
Once in Royal David’s City
In the Bleakmidwinter
Hark! The herald angels sing
