OVERVIEW
We’re delighted to perform a trio of concerts with clarinettist, conductor and composer Jörg Widmann. As well as appearing as soloist in Mozart’s much-loved Clarinet Concerto, Jörg conducts the Academy in his Con Brio written in 2008, which takes its inspiration from Beethoven’s 7th and 8th symphonies, and features the same instrumentation. The programme concludes with Mozart’s final symphony, the ‘Jupiter’.
