We join our good friend, violinist Julia Fischer, at the Hamburg Music Festival, performing works from the Baroque via the Romantic era to something more modern. The concert opens with J.S. Bach’s Concerto in D minor for Two Violins (violinist Lena Neudauer), followed by Schnittke’s Concerto grosso No.1. The second half features two of the best loved serenades for strings.
