OVERVIEW
The Academy of St Martin in the Fields Chamber Ensemble brings a delightful programme of music for winds to the 2018 La Palma International Festival of Music, including favourite chamber works by Mozart and Beethoven. The concert also includes two lesser-known gems, both on an operatic theme: music from Gluck’s Iphigenie en Tauride and Jonathan Dove’s Figures in the Garden, a piece based on Mozart’s The Marriage of Figaro.
