Overview

Acclaimed American pianist and Academy Principal Guest Conductor Murray Perahia leads the orchestra in performances of all five of Beethoven’s Piano Concertos, in three all-Beethoven programmes in residency at Munich’s Philharmonie am Gasteig. Guest Director Tomo Keller also steps into the spotlight as violin soloist, opening the final concert of the residency with Beethoven’s Romance No. 2 in F major Op. 50.
