The 38th Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival will place the musical metropolis of London at the centre of its programme. Many internationally acclaimed artists have been secured for this year’s festival, including Mischa Maisky, Martha Argerich, Avi Avital, Jan Lisiecki, Steven Isserlis, Sabine Meyer, Sheku and Isata Kanneh-Mason, Sean Shibe, Albrecht Mayer, Christian Tetzlaff, Hilary Hahn and Anne-Sophie Mutter.
Jan Lisiecki joins the Academy for two piano concertos by Mozart, paired with two 20th-century works by Britten and Tippett.
