The Academy of St Martin in the Fields acknowledges its responsibility to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and adults at risk, and is committed to ensuring that its safeguarding practice reflects statutory responsibilities, the guidance of social, health and young people’s services and the government.
The orchestra produces an enriching and dynamic learning and participation programme that reaches adults, children and in turn their parents, carers, schools and support organisations. Fundamental to our commitment to provide high-quality experiences is our ability to provide a safe learning environment where children and Academy personnel feel secure, valued and listened to. The Academy acknowledges that every person has a role to play in ensuring the welfare of those we work with. This reflected in our safeguarding policies.
