Musicians from the Academy perform duets, trios and quartets spanning more than 300 years. Highlights include the poised Baroque counterpoint of Telemann’s ‘Tafelmusik’ quartet and the socially distanced birdsong of Nicole Chamberlain’s piccolo duet Mimic. Written to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Wilderness Act of 1964, this piccolo duet uses calls from the Eastern Towhee, Tufted Titmouse, and the Brown Headed Nuthatch to capture the spirit of the native Georgia birds responding to one another.
