OVERVIEW

We are thrilled to once again collaborate with the celebrated violinist Julia Fischer, a great friend of the Academy. She’ll be joined by Musical America’s 2018 Instrumentalist of the Year Augustin Hadelich to perform music for two violins by Bach and Schnittke, and will direct the orchestra in beautiful string serenades by Dvořák and Tchaikovsky, plus new music by composer Andrey Rubtsov.
