What’s OnASMF hold weekly workshops, in partnership with The Connection at St Martin’s, to empower those experiencing homelessness, through the experimentation and exploration of music. ASMF musicians come together with participants to perform on different instruments, explore the voice, and experience recording music, which occurs as a culmination of the sessions held throughout the Spring.
Showcasing our 25 years of work with The Connection, we are delighted to be including the work of our participants in the upcoming Marriner 100 Soundwalk. The walk will be available digitally to the public and will be located around St Martin in the Fields and Trafalgar Square. The final outcome will be a 15 minute piece, featuring works created through projects, spoken word and musical underscore from ASMF players. Sounds will be automatically triggered as audiences follow the route.
