OVERVIEW

The Academy of St Martin in the Fields travels to Mexico to perform three concerts under the direction of Tomo Keller.

The programme includes Mozart’s famous Clarinet Concerto, featuring our outstanding Principal Clarinettist James Burke as soloist, and symphonies by Mendelssohn and Mozart (his ‘Great G minor’). The Academy’s superb string principals are showcased in Britten’s Sinfonietta, written when he was still a student at the Royal College of Music.

The final concert of the tour is part of the Festival Internacional Cervantino, and marks the 75th anniversary of The Anglo Mexican Foundation.
